Workshop Overview
We will be discussing ISO 9001 - The 2008 Revision to the Current 2000 Edition of the Standard.
In this workshop, QSG discusses the 2008 revisions to the ISO 9001 Standard. While most revisions are minimal, QSG would like to take the opportunity to inform registered and soon to be registered companies about these changes. This review will help to ensure your organization stays in compliance with the standard.
In this seminar you'll discover the various criteria that each change was required to meet in order to be considered for the amendment. In addition, you'll get to review the actual text changes for the 2008 revision of the standard. Once you complete this workshop, you'll have gained confidence and awareness about how ISO 9001:2008 will impact your organization.
Russ Liddle has over 30 years experience as a quality professional working in both the service and manufacturing environment. He has held positions of increasing responsibility leading to the Director of Quality for a large national company. As director he has led the company through implementations of: ISO 9000, ISO 14000, Six Sigma and Lean initiatives for both support and manufacturing locations.
Russ has worked as implementer, trainer, facilitator, program manager, and lead auditor for business management systems, quality management systems, and continuous improvement programs. He has facilitated the implementation of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 in 33 manufacturing locations, customer service centers, field service groups and distribution centers. Russ's manufacturing experience includes chemical, glass, plastic molding, electronic assembly, and lamp assembly processes in the commercial, consumer and automotive industries. He is a certified lead auditor for ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
